You will help ensure accurate contract creation and modification, complete IFRS 16 compliance checks, post payments in accordance with contract terms, and resolve stakeholder queries efficiently. The role involves close collaboration with local market teams, finance operations, business stakeholders and landlords in a virtual, matrix-based environment.\nWhat you will do\nProcess contract creations and modifications accurately within agreed timelines.\nValidate contract conditions and confirm that all required controls are in place before payments are posted.\nComplete IFRS 16 compliance checks for each applicable contract.\nPost vendor and landlord payments in line with agreed contract terms.\nUnderstand upstream dependencies and work with relevant teams to facilitate timely contract postings.\nResolve queries from local market Finance Operations teams, business stakeholders and landlords on a first-time-right basis.\nRespond to stakeholder enquiries promptly, clearly and accurately.\nProvide focused operational support to local market functions.\nCollaborate effectively within a virtual, matrix-based team and engage stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.\nWork with cross-functional teams to identify and support process improvements across Group Common Functions.\nAnalyse and respond to non-English queries from European stakeholders concerning lease accounting, using appropriate tools and process knowledge.\nWho you are\nYou have sound accounting knowledge and experience supporting month-end close activities.\nYou possess practical working knowledge of SAP.\nYou understand contract processing, payment postings and financial controls.\nYou have knowledge of, or experience working with, IFRS 16 lease accounting requirements.\nYou can analyse operational queries and provide clear, accurate and timely responses.\nYou collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed stakeholders.\nYou can work independently while contributing effectively within a virtual, matrix-based team.\nYou demonstrate attention to detail, accountability and a first-time-right approach.\nYou are comfortable using appropriate tools to interpret and respond to non-English business queries.\nNot a Perfect Fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
