Taking end-to-end responsibility, you will work from defining the target vision and analysing large datasets through to developing and implementing intelligent software solutions that proactively identify network, service and customer issues.\nThis role combines hands-on data science with software engineering, telecommunications knowledge and agile DevOps practices.\nWhat you’ll do\nDevelop Python software within a collaborative, agile development environment.\nAnalyse large datasets using data science, statistical methods, machine learning and AI.\nDesign and implement algorithms for real-time detection of customer, network and service issues.\nExplore and apply AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning, to operational challenges.\nTranslate analytical insights into implemented solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders.\nTake end-to-end ownership from target definition and data analysis through to implementation.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of agile DevOps and CI/CD processes.\nDeliver projects against agreed quality and timeline objectives.\nTake a proactive, self-directed approach to identifying and resolving project challenges.\nContribute to operational efficiency objectives through data-driven automation.\nWho you are\nYou have strong analytical, statistical, and data science capabilities, with a proven record of implementing solutions.\nYou bring at least 3 years of software development experience, with strong programming skills and particular expertise in Python.\nYou have experience applying data science techniques to large datasets.\nYou understand telecommunications networks.\nYou have knowledge of Agile methodologies and development tools.\nYou approach complex problems with structured, solution-oriented thinking.\nYou can work autonomously while collaborating effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.\nYou are fluent in English.\nYou hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Communications Engineering, or a related field.\nA PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline is advantageous but not required.\nNot a perfect fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
