The role combines hands-on expertise across Kafka, Java, Spring Boot and integration technologies with technical leadership, production support, stakeholder management and engineering mentorship. Experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) would be advantageous.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead Apache Kafka and Amazon MSK platform setup and operational readiness.\nDefine and implement networking, IAM, encryption and monitoring requirements for reliable Kafka environments.\nEstablish deployment automation and recovery planning for the platform.\nOwn end-to-end technical delivery, from design and development through testing and production release.\nConduct design and code reviews to maintain engineering quality.\nProvide support for critical production issues and contribute to service recovery.\nApply Java, Spring Boot and integration expertise to solution design and implementation.\nMentor engineers and encourage effective engineering practices.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment on technical delivery and priorities.\nIdentify and manage technical and delivery risks.\nEnsure timely and high-quality delivery throughout the development and release lifecycle.\nWho you are\nYou have 7-10 years of integration experience.\nYou have strong hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka.\nYou have experience setting up and operating AWS/Amazon MSK environments.\nYou understand networking, AWS IAM, encryption and monitoring within Kafka/MSK environments.\nYou have experience with deployment automation and recovery planning.\nYou have strong development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.\nYou have experience with integration technologies and patterns.\nYou can lead design and code reviews, testing, releases and critical production support.\nYou can mentor engineers and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.\nYou can identify and manage delivery and technical risks.\n TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) experience would be advantageous.\nNot a perfect fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
