Maintains high service availability, develops automation scripts, implements system changes, and continuously optimizes operational processes.\nManages software maintenance, configuration and code updates, while producing clear and detailed implementation documentation. Based across Lisbon and Bucharest, the team provides 24/7 service continuity across Data Analytics, Automation, Web Portals, Systems Environment, and Release Management.\nWhat you’ll do\nProvide technical support for automation applications and systems, ensuring on-call availability approximately once every two months, including during and outside business hours;\nContribute to planning, assessment, implementation, rollout, and execution of code release phases and change requests;\nUtilize, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and source-code control systems to facilitate efficient deployments and updates;\nManage and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests, including the implementation of workarounds as necessary;\nRegularly identify opportunities for improvement and automation to optimize processes and services;\nAdhere to defined service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high-quality service delivery;\nSupport team knowledge building and skills development to continuously enhance customer service;\nModify and adapt software solutions to improve performance and enhance the customer experience for specific services provided;\nReview the technical and functional specifications of information systems and implement necessary modifications or adaptations to software solutions;\nPerform impact analyses, propose, develop, and implement technical solutions to address software functionality issues, resolve advanced technical problems, and enhance the customer experience;\nFoster long-term, sustainable relationships with Vodafone’s internal and external partners to ensure SLA compliance and drive service improvements.\nWho you are\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, IT or MIS;\nStrong understanding of DevOps principles and the Agile methodology;\nMinimum of 1 year of technical experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS or GCP), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and version control systems (e.g., Git);\nBasic knowledge of: Containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, Configuration Management as code using tools like Ansible with Tower UI or AWX UI, Messaging systems such as Kafka, Databases like Oracle DB, Web service technologies, including SOAP/JMS and REST APIs;\nFamiliarity with Object-Oriented Programming languages (e.g., Java), scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python), and writing PL/SQL database queries;\nStrong operational knowledge with the ability to debug and troubleshoot application issues on Linux servers;\nExperience working in international and multicultural environments;\nExcellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken;\nAWS or GCP Cloud Certifications are an advantage;\nLinux Training or Certifications;\nProgramming/Scripting experience;\nDatabase PL/SQL experience;\nFluent in English.\nNot a perfect fit?\nWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
