You will work closely with your Assistant Manager to achieve results, develop capability, and ensure your store consistently delivers against all key business, customer, and compliance measures.\nWhat you’ll do\nKey Responsibilities:\nTake full ownership of store performance, delivering on all sales, customer experience, and operational KPIs\nLead, develop, and inspire your team to achieve their full potential, creating a high-engagement, high-performance culture and developing talent\nWork in partnership with your Assistant Manager to deliver the day-to-day running of the store and ensure seamless operations\nSet clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement\nEnsure consistently high standards across store presentation, housekeeping, merchandising, and compliance\nAct as the escalation point for complex customer queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution\nUse data and insight (e.g. footfall, sales trends, KPIs) to make informed decisions and optimise store performance\nManage scheduling and resources effectively to meet the needs of the business and customer demand\nBuild strong connections within the local community and understand your customer base to drive engagement and growth\nChampion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer focus across the team\nWho you are\nSkills and Experience:\nEssential\nProven experience leading and delivering results in a retail or customer-focused environment (3-year min)\nStrong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams\nA track record of achieving sales, customer experience, and operational targets\nStrong commercial awareness, with the ability to use data and insight to drive performance\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels\nA customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences\nStrong organisational and operational management skills\nConfidence using digital tools, systems, and performance reporting\nDesirable\nPrevious experience as a Store Manager or in a similar leadership role\nProven ability to develop talent and build succession pipelines\nRelevant qualification in Business, Retail, or Management (or equivalent experience)\nThe Vodafone Spirit\nYou will be successful in this role by bringing Vodafone’s Spirit behaviours to life every day:\nEarn Customer Loyalty - Leading your team to consistently deliver exceptional and trusted customer experiences\nGet It Done Together - Building a strong team culture based on collaboration, support, and shared success\nExperiment & Learn Fast - Encouraging innovation, continuous learning, and adaptability across your team\nCreate the Future - Driving new ideas and ways of working that improve performance and customer outcomes\nNot a perfect fit?\nWorried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
