About this Role

We are seeking a commercially minded professional to support the day-to-day commercial execution of small to medium-sized technology and telecommunications contracts. In this role, you will help ensure accurate contract administration, billing, forecasting, governance compliance and commercial reporting while working closely with delivery, finance and customer operations teams. This opportunity is well suited to individuals who have experience in commercial support, contract management or business operations and who enjoy working with data, governance processes and stakeholder coordination.

What you’ll do

• Maintain contract records, documentation repositories and governance trackers.
• Support change control administration and commercial risk logging activities.
• Provide data inputs to forecasting processes and revenue or margin reporting.
• Monitor billing accuracy, service level agreement credits and potential value leakage items under guidance.
• Assist in preparing documentation and artefacts for contract renewals, amendments and governance reviews.

Engagement & Governance

• Coordinate day-to-day interactions with internal stakeholders and customer counterparts, providing support for routine commercial queries.
• Escalate commercial issues where appropriate and support preparation of customer-facing updates, reports and commercial artefacts.
• Perform financial and operational data analysis, including variance reviews, validations and reporting updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation, trackers and forecasting inputs in accordance with governance standards and templates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by updating logs, templates and identifying potential contract risks or process enhancements.

Performance & Delivery

• Deliver forecasting inputs in line with agreed schedules.
• Conduct timely variance analysis and reporting activities.
• Support billing and invoicing accuracy against agreed commercial values.
• Ensure reporting quality, completeness and accuracy across assigned contracts and workstreams.

Who you are

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation.
• Foundational understanding of commercial principles, contracts and basic accounting concepts.
• Effective written communication skills with a consistent approach to stakeholder engagement and follow-through.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data handling, validation and reporting.
• Ability to learn quickly and proactively identify and escalate issues.
• Understanding of contractual risks and the ability to monitor issues through to resolution.
• Telecommunications or outsourcing industry exposure is desirable.
• Demonstrated alignment with Vodafone Spirit behaviours.

Experience

• Experience in commercial support, contract support or related business operations roles within IT, technology or telecommunications environments.
• Typically 7 to 10 years of overall professional experience, including 3 to 5 years in a relevant commercial support role.
• Understanding of contract structures, governance processes and commercial administration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CLM platforms or commercial management tools.
• Formal coursework, certifications or qualifications in contracting, finance, business or a related discipline.
