This role focuses on end-to-end testing across Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS), supporting products and services including mobile, fixed line, broadband and TV. The successful candidate will bring hands-on expertise in manual testing, API testing, defect management, SQL validation and telecom platforms such as Siebel CRM, Kennan Billing, Webmethods and JIRA. Based in Pune, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale telecom testing initiatives while working within Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.\nWhat you’ll do\nPerform end-to-end testing for telecom applications, including CRM, billing and integration platforms.\nAnalyse business and technical requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.\nExecute functional, regression, integration and system testing activities.\nDesign, develop and execute API and web service test cases using relevant testing tools.\nValidate telecom-specific processes including call flows, billing, provisioning and network configurations.\nManage defects, testing progress and reporting activities through JIRA and related quality tools.\nPerform backend validation and data integrity checks using SQL.\nCollaborate with developers, business analysts and quality assurance stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage.\nSupport testing across multiple customer channels including CRM platforms, online portals and mobile applications.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, sprint activities, defect triages and quality review forums.\nContribute to test strategy discussions and continuous improvement initiatives across the testing function.\nWho you are\n4 to 6 years of experience in software testing within telecom or related industries.\nStrong understanding of telecom BSS/OSS systems and platforms.\nHands-on experience with Siebel CRM, Kennan Billing, Webmethods, JIRA and SQL.\nExperience in API testing and exposure to automation testing frameworks.\nKnowledge of mobile, fixed line, broadband and TV service testing.\nFamiliarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.\nEffective communication, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.\nDetail-oriented, proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively.\nISTQB Practitioner certification or equivalent certification is desirable.\nGraduate or post-graduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.\nNot a perfect fit?\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement?
