Close to 400 colleagues use Voi’s AI platform every day, and teams across the company have already built over 300 apps on our in-house app-building platform.\nThis is a hands-on builder role in a small, senior team where your work will have company-wide impact. You will keep our existing AI platform fast, secure, and reliable, while building the next generation of capabilities that help Voi move faster, work smarter, and continue leading in applied AI.\nYou will:\nOwn and improve Voi’s AI platform, including our in-house app-building platform, Claude stack and future AI capabilities.\n\nBuild robust backend services and full-stack, user-facing features that make the platform reliable, scalable, and easy to use.\n\nDevelop the next layer of AI infrastructure, such as agentic platforms, enterprise search, knowledge bases, knowledge graphs and open-weight model access.\n\nStrengthen security, identity and access control across the platform, including permissions, security reviews, audits and integrations with company systems.\n\nWork closely with the AI team, platform team and colleagues across Voi to understand needs, test ideas and ship useful tools quickly.\n\nHelp decide what we build, buy or integrate, with a focus on control, long-term value and avoiding vendor lock-in.\n\nExplore the AI landscape and bring promising ideas into the platform when they are ready to scale.\n\nWHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK\nWe are looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys building platforms that many people rely on. You combine strong backend skills with product thinking, sound judgement, and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues.\nWe believe you bring:\nStrong experience building and running robust, scalable internal platforms, ideally including AI platforms.\n\nA solid backend engineering background, with experience building applications and services at scale.\n\nHands-on experience with LLMs in production, such as agents, tool use, MCP, RAG, search or evaluation.\n\nFull-stack ability and a good sense of UX, especially when building tools for non-engineers.\n\nGood understanding of identity, authentication and access control, or a strong interest in going deeper in this area.\n\nA practical builder mindset, with the ability to turn ideas into working software and iterate quickly.\n\nAutonomy, ownership and good judgement in open-ended technical areas.\n\nStrong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to different audiences.\n\nDon’t meet every requirement?
