This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on development and architecture experience who can work independently, engage effectively with stakeholders, and embed security principles into solution design across modern technology environments.\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nDesign secure Product and IT solutions, ensuring security requirements are incorporated from the earliest stages of the development lifecycle \nDevelop and review High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for applications and platforms \nProvide technical guidance on mobile application, web application, and API security design \nSupport architecture reviews across cloud-based environments, including containers and virtual machines \nApply modern architectural principles such as Zero Trust and microservices-based design \nCollaborate with engineering, development, and business stakeholders to define secure and scalable solutions \nEvaluate network security considerations including firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), zoning, IP addressing, routing, and network protocols \nContribute to risk and vulnerability management activities by identifying and addressing security gaps within solution designs \nPromote Secure by Design practices across projects and programmes\n\nWho You Are\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of cloud technologies, including containers and virtual machines \nStrong understanding of API security and secure application development practices \nExperience developing High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) \nHands-on experience with mobile application and web application development \nFamiliarity with modern solutions architecture approaches, including Zero Trust and microservices \nSolid understanding of networks, including firewalls, WAF, zoning, IP addressing, routing, and network protocols \nSolid understanding of risk and vulnerability management \nProven ability to work independently and manage stakeholders effectively \nStrong background in designing Product and IT solutions \nPractical software development experience with a strong technical foundation\n\nNot a perfect fit\n\nConcerned you may not meet every requirement Vodafone is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
