  • Identify and mitigate operational, financial, people, customer, and cultural risks.

  • Build trust with local leaders and employees while supporting the thoughtful and practical adoption of Volaris practices.

  • Provide concise progress updates, escalate material risks, and recommend decisions or corrective actions.

Ongoing Group Leader Responsibilities

As the integration matures, the Group Leader will continue to support the business leaders in the portfolio. Ongoing responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with business leaders to strengthen performance, strategic planning, and execution.

  • Coach leaders on financial management, talent, organizational effectiveness, and Volaris operating disciplines.

  • Challenge and support business leaders while preserving their accountability for operating their businesses.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on business priorities, leadership decisions, risks, and opportunities.

  • Facilitate portfolio-level learning, collaboration, and sharing of effective practices.

  • Experience leading integrations, transformations, or major cross-functional business initiatives.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including demonstrated experience with P&L performance, forecasting, operating metrics, and business planning.

  • Demonstrated experience influencing and coaching senior leaders without relying solely on formal authority.

  • Project and change leadership experience, with the ability to translate broad objectives into clear actions, owners, timelines, and follow-through.

  • Ability to build credibility quickly, work across cultures and time zones, and navigate ambiguity with sound judgment.

  • Ability to identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and bring forward practical solutions.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively and/or live in Australia during critical phases of the integration.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A strong coach and advisor who can challenge business leaders constructively and strengthen their decision-making.

  • A commercially minded problem solver who can connect people, performance, customer, financial, and operational considerations.

  • A leader who is motivated by enabling business leaders rather than directly operating their businesses.

  • A leader who is comfortable making a significant commitment to Australia during the initial integration period.
