We will support the successful candidate in developing their training and presentation skills where required.\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical geospatial expertise with professional training delivery and industry engagement.\nKey Responsibilities\nGeospatial Services\nDevelop, maintain and manage GIS databases and spatial datasets.\nProcess, analyse and interpret geospatial information from multiple sources.\nProduce mapping products, visualisations and analytical reports for clients and training programmes.\nIntegrate data from UAV surveys, GNSS systems, remote sensing platforms and traditional survey methods.\nMaintain data quality assurance and spatial accuracy standards.\nSupport consultancy projects involving environmental monitoring, infrastructure management and asset inspections.\nGIS Analysis\nPerform spatial analysis and modelling.\nCreate thematic maps and digital cartography products.\nManage vector, raster and LiDAR datasets.\nSupport land-use, environmental and infrastructure projects using GIS methodologies.\nDevelop workflows for automated or repeatable geospatial processes.\nTraining & Education\nAssist in the development of GIS training materials and practical exercises.\nSupport delivery of GIS and geospatial technology courses.\nProvide classroom, online and practical workshop instruction.\nMentor learners and provide technical guidance.\nProgress towards becoming a lead instructor for geospatial training programmes.\nSupport the development of new GIS, Remote Sensing and Drone Mapping courses. Including working with our Media & Content Assistant to support video production and e-learning programmes\nIndustry Development\nStay current with developments in GIS, Earth Observation, Remote Sensing and UAV technologies.\nSupport exhibitions, demonstrations and corporate client workshops.\nContribute to the growth and reputation of our geospatial training division.\nEssential Requirements\nExperience working with GIS software and spatial data management.\nStrong understanding of cartography and spatial analysis principles.\nPractical experience managing geospatial datasets.\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly.\nStrong report writing and presentation skills.\nExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.\nFull UK driving licence.\nWillingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas as required\nTechnical Skills\nExperience with some or all, of the following:\nArcGIS Pro\nArcGIS Online\nQGIS\nGlobal Mapper\nGoogle Earth Pro\nSpatial databases\nGeoJSON, SHP, KML and other geospatial formats\nGPS/GNSS data processing\nWeb GIS platforms\nSpatial data quality management\nDesirable Requirements\nDegree in Geography, Geoinformatics, GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Environmental Science or a related discipline.\nExperience working with UAV-derived mapping products.\nPhotogrammetry experience.\nRemote sensing and Earth Observation knowledge.\nLiDAR processing experience.\nPython scripting or GIS automation experience.\nTeaching, coaching or mentoring experience.\nKnowledge of environmental, infrastructure or
