Volt Lines is the only shuttle service provider that has both software as well as a transport service. Notable examples of these innovative services include DRT and Marketplace. DRT (short for Demand-Responsive Transport) was covered by a Harvard Business School case study that is being taught at the MBA school. transportation.\nResponsibilities\nBuild and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality mobile apps for Android with Kotlin.\nManage the end-to-end release cycle, including Google Play publishing processes.\nMonitor app metrics (crash reports, performance, user engagement, store ratings) and take proactive actions for improvements.\nConduct code reviews and tech reviews to ensure best practices.\nCollaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features.\nTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance and user experience.\nWork with external APIs and data sources while ensuring reliability and security.\nStay up to date with mobile development trends and introduce new tools/technologies to improve efficiency.\nRequirements\nA minimum of Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum 2 years of proven experience with Kotlin, Java.\nStrong knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle. \nExperience with Git for version control.\nExperience with cross-platform development using Kotlin Multiplatform.\nUnderstanding of MVP and MVVM architectural concepts.\nExperience in building applications that interact with notifications, state management, and REST APIs.\nSolid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including code signing and submitting to the stores.\nFamiliarity with map
