We are 100+ people across London, Palo Alto, and New York, with rapid growth expectations to hundreds.\nAbout The Role\nThe Corporate Development Analyst supports Volta's strategic initiatives, including fundraising, M&A, and partnership evaluation.\nThis role works closely with senior leadership to analyze market opportunities, build financial models, and support the execution of strategic transactions that shape Volta's growth.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nBuild and maintain financial models to evaluate potential transactions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives\n\nConduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making\n\nSupport due diligence processes for M&A, financings, and partnership opportunities\n\nPrepare materials and analysis for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership discussions\n\nTrack and analyze industry trends in AI infrastructure, data centers, and energy markets\n\nCollaborate with Finance, Legal, and business teams to gather data and support transaction execution\n\nAssist with post-transaction integration and performance tracking\n\nSupport ad hoc strategic analyses requested by senior leadership\n\nWhat You Bring\n2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development\n\nStrong financial modeling and analytical skills\n\nBachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure\n\nProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis tools a plus\n\nInterest in AI infrastructure, data centers, or energy markets\n\nAbility to work effectively with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment\nREQ-29\n\nWhat We Offer\nAt Volta, we believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted and able to grow.
