You will set the contracting strategy and standards used across every project, and lead the contracts leads embedded in each project team through a functional line.\nFrom contracting models and standard forms to negotiation, claims and commercial governance, this role makes sure Volta builds on terms that protect the business and keep projects moving.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nOwn Volta's contracting strategy across general contractor, package and vendor agreements\n\nSet standard contract forms, flow-downs and commercial terms across the fleet\n\nLead major negotiations alongside procurement and project leadership\n\nProvide functional leadership to the contracts leads embedded in each project team\n\nBuild claims avoidance practice and manage disputes when they arise\n\nRun commercial governance, delegations and approvals across projects\n\nKeep contracting standards compliant across multiple jurisdictions\n\nTrain and develop commercial capability across the delivery organisation\n\nWhat You Bring\nContracts leadership on data centre or major capital projects is essential\n\nDeep experience of construction contracting models and standard forms across international markets\n\nA strong record in negotiation and claims management on complex builds\n\nExperience working across multiple jurisdictions and governing to standard\n\nSound commercial judgement under delivery pressure\n\nThe credibility to lead functionally across embedded project teams\n\nWillingness to travel across sites\nREQ-110\n\nWhat We Offer\nAt Volta, we believe people do their best work when they feel supported, trusted and able to grow.
