The position verifies conformance to approved engineering drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and company and customer requirements; records objective inspection results; identifies and controls suspected nonconforming product; and promptly communicates findings to the Quality Control Lead or Quality Manager. This is a hands-on technical inspection role without personnel supervision or independent authority to approve engineering deviations or nonconforming material dispositions.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nPerform assigned inspections in accordance with established priorities, inspection plans, and work instructions.\nConfirm part identification, stock code, revision, quantity, and applicable inspection requirements before inspecting.\nMaintain accurate inspection records and communicate inspection status and delays to the Quality Control Lead or Quality Manager.\nUse approved inspection methods and properly maintained measuring equipment; request guidance when requirements are unclear.\nMaintain an orderly inspection area and protect inspected parts, records, and measuring \nPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on materials, components, and finished products. \nVerify products meet engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and internal quality standards. \nUtilize measuring and inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments. \nReview completed work packages, inspection reports, and quality documentation for accuracy and completeness. \nSupport first article inspections, special inspections, and customer-specific verification requirements as needed. \nIdentify, document, and communicate nonconforming products and process deviations. \nAssist with NCR creation, containment activities, root cause investigations, and corrective action follow-up. \nCoordinate disposition activities and ensure nonconforming materials are properly identified and controlled. \nTrack recurring quality issues and communicate trends to quality management. \nSupport customer, internal, and third-party audit activities as required. \nWork closely with production personnel to address quality concerns and ensure compliance with quality requirements. \nCoordinate with engineering regarding drawing clarifications, specifications, and product quality issues. \nAssist in implementing process improvements designed to reduce defects and improve product quality. \nCommunicate inspection results, quality concerns, and operational risks to appropriate personnel.\nEducation & Experience\nPrevious experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or industrial operations required.\nExperience reading engineering drawings and technical specifications required.\nPrevious leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience preferred.\nSpecific Skills\nStrong knowledge of inspection methods, quality standards, and manufacturing processes.\nProficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.\nExperience with NCR processes, corrective actions, and quality documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nEffective communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.\nProficient computer and data entry skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.\nBenefits\nMedical, Dental and Vision Coverage, including FSA/HAS\nCompany - Paid Life Insurance and Long - Term Disability\n401K\nEmployee Referral Program\nPaid Holidays and PTO\nTraining\nOpportunities for Growth\nAnd more!\n10+ years as the North American leader in oilfield equipment innovation and manufacturing, with 3 facilities across the U.S. and Canada, is not only a testament to our customers, but a commitment to the team of people who work here every day.
