This includes accounting entries, monthly/quarterly/annual closings, VAT and tax returns, IFRS reporting via OneStream, and maintaining general ledger integrity. Reports to the Finance Manager Portugal & Ireland.\nThe Senior Accountant will have the following responsibilities:\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Portuguese GAAP (SNC) and IFRS.\nPerform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.\nMaintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.\nControl intercompany flows and perform monthly ICP validation and reconciliation.\nProcess income statement and balance sheet in OneStream, including IFRS homogenisation journals.\nPerform bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries.\nIssue customer invoices and monitor customer accounts.\nMaintain fixed asset register.\nSupport external audits by preparing relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.\nPrepare and file VAT, CIT (IRC), WHT and other tax returns in compliance with Portuguese tax laws.\nPrepare and submit statistical reports (INE, Intrastat).\nSupport the Finance Manager with transfer pricing documentation.\nLiaise with other departments to ensure correct accounting and tax treatment of operations.\nSupport for account analysis “Goods receipt / Invoice receipt”.\nAct as support referent for IFS for the Portuguese accounting scope.Identify and communicate ERP system improvements, issues and accounting process enhancements.\n\nBuild on existing processes and implement improvements in line with Renvolt group policies.\nSupport the transition to standalone Finance processes in the context of the carve-out.\nMay perform other administrative or operational tasks compatible with the role.\nQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES\nDegree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics \nAt least 8 years of experience in Accounting & Corporate Finance\nExperience in Accounting, Tax compliance and Finance operations management\nStrong knowledge in advanced function for Excel, Power Point, Word, Power Query/database, Power BI and automated dashboards.\nStrong knowledge of ERP finance applications, local tax systems (PT: SNC, AT Portal / IE: ROS).\nStrong knowledge of consolidation and reporting tools (OneStream).\nPrevious experience with IFS ERP and Microsoft F&O is a strong advantage.\nKEY SKILLS\nOrganisation and initiative.\nSense of responsibility and dedication.\nAbility to manage varying volumes of work.\nResilience, proactivity and adaptability to the carve-out transition context.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nIf this opportunity excites you, we'd love to hear from you!
