The candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, transformations, semantic models, DAX calculations, dashboards, and reporting accuracy across the complete analytics lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute end-to-end test strategies and test plans for data and BI solutions.\nValidate data ingestion, transformations, incremental loads, watermarking, schema changes, and source-to-target mappings.\nTest Microsoft Fabric components including OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks.\nPerform comprehensive Power BI testing, including:\nSemantic models and table relationships\nDAX measures and calculated columns\nKPIs and time-intelligence calculations\nSlicers, filters, drill-throughs and drill-downs\nVisual interactions and dashboard performance\nRow-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access\nReconcile Power BI metrics against Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse and source-system data.\nDevelop complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, aggregation, and regression testing.\nUse PySpark/Python for automated data-quality checks and large-volume data validation.\nValidate pipeline error handling, retry mechanisms, and schema-drift scenarios.\nIdentify, document, and track defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.\nSupport integration of automated quality checks into Azure DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.\n\nMandatory Skills\n3–8 years of experience in Data QA / Data Testing / BI Testing.\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric:\nOneLake\nLakehouse\nData Warehouse\nData Pipelines\nDataflows Gen2\nFabric Notebooks\nStrong hands-on Power BI testing experience.\nStrong SQL skills for complex validation and reconciliation.\nHands-on PySpark / Python experience.\nStrong understanding of DAX, semantic models, relationships, cardinality, KPIs, and RLS.\nExperience with ETL/ELT testing and dimensional data modeling.\nKnowledge of Star and Snowflake schemas.\nExperience with Jira/Azure DevOps and Git.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.\n\nGood-to-Have Skills\nGreat Expectations, PyTest, or other automated data-quality/BI testing frameworks.\nAzure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics.\nKnowledge of automated
