If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.\nWhat you will do\nPlase note: This is a 12 month contract commencing in January 2027\nPrimary Purpose\nThe overall objective for the Commodity Buyer is to ensure that the segment strategy is implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously securing Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management (QDCFTSR) supplier performance by using the tools and purchasing/cross functional network during production and after production for Revenue segments.\nKey Responsibilities\nThe Commodity Buyer is accountable for the Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management (QDCFTSR) of the supplier base for segments in scope of responsibility.\nKey responsibilities include, but not limited to:\nContribute to segment strategies and be an active member in the global network of commodity\nbuyers.\nTo secure that supplier selection is aligned with the Segment strategy/Segment Business Plan\nTo secure the outcome of the sourcing in a contractual package, and all agreements are approved\nand signed\nExecute agreements with suppliers during production and after production for Revenue segments\nDrive all relevant activities to deliver QDCFTSR targets during production phase and after\nproduction phase for Revenue parts\nMonitor, identify and mitigate risks in cooperation with SQ&D team\nForecast cost evolution for scope of responsibility\nManage and negotiate product/process changes during production phase, and after production phase for Revenue segments\nPerform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers\nPerform hand-over to Uptime buyer when parts are phased out of production for non-revenue parts.\nWith respect to the decided governance and processes, the commodity buyer has the authorisation to act to fulfil the above described tasks and responsibilities\nCan be appointed as a segment leader and/or supplier host\nWho are you?\nEducational Qualifications\nCommercial/business or technical degree or similar\nBusiness skills & attributes\nPrevious work experience in a similar role where you have demonstrated your expertise in project management, change management, process management and business case development\nExperience with cost management and financial analysis\nSolid understanding of production and supply chain processes\nStrong commercial acumen and total acquisition cost management\nExcellent negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to positivity influence others\nExcellent organisational, interpersonal and multi-cultural communication skills\nContinuous improvement and quality mind-set\nIntermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to pick up new systems quickly\nAbility to deal with, and be supportive of colleagues/customers across all levels of the organisation\nA Team Player and proactive approach to team work\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWe offer a solid package of compensation and benefits, plus you will enjoy:\nA truly values-based organisation, inclusive workplace culture and passionate people shaping the world we live in\nOpportunity to leverage a globally aligned and locally authentic icon.
