Our company values help guide us on that journey.\nPurpose\nThe Delivery Coordinator is first point of contact at CDC Byhalia for deviations on incoming receiving and outgoing shipments, related to lead times and departure precision.\nThe Delivery Coordinator secures proper escalation of the deviations within the organization and gives feedback after investigation.\nScope and Influence Operational mandate related to escalations on delivery.\nHas an influence on delivery performance of CDC Byhalia (Inbound Leadtime & Outbound Departure precision).\nMain targets and results:\nFirst point of contact for deviations on deliveries\nKnowledge to handle as much as possible questions independent\nEscalates in a proper way within organization\nPorvides feedback after investigations of escalation\nClear view on cost drivers and KPI's, with focus on Delivery performance \nTakes an active role in continuos improvement activities for Delivery Performance \nKey responsibilities / accountabilities\nSingle point of contact within CDC Byhalia for deviations on deliveries for Mack, VTNA, VCE & Penta\nSecures pro-active communication in case of known deviation\nTakes part in interface meetings with colleagues, partners & customers according to business needs\nLogging of all deviations for further analysis afterward\nFirst line analysis of recurrent deviations\nContact with Materials Planning for lead times on incoming receiving\nContact with Materials Planning / DIP for lead times on outgoing shipments\nContact with North American Service Center on outgoing shipments\nContact with North American Service Center for return shipment\nGives input to Operational Resource Planner regarding elements with impact on workload and/or resources\nPrioritize daily workflow according to company’s need\nBe Proactive and forecast for upcoming projects \nCommunicate with appropriate teams on delivery concerns\nDocument, update, and follow-up on all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to achieve high level of quality\nRun, create & updates reports as needed within various application\nProcess confirmation, troubleshoot, resolution, problem-solve\nSafety and environment conscience \nQuality Improvement Tools\nBusiness understanding\nImplementing maintenance awareness\nRetrieve information and data\nPlanning and scheduling\nTrouble shooting\nData Analysis Reporting\nPerform additional functions as needed\nQualifications / Skills\nBachelor or equivalate experience\nKnowledge of logistics processes and business acumen \nCustomer oriented and strong in building networks\nPutting priorities / sense of urgency\nPassionate by continuous improvement\nResult oriented\nStrong communicative skills\nQuality Improvement Tools\nCommunication and Negotiation Skills\nBusiness understanding\nAt the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $83,500 - $103,100 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
