We are looking for an Experienced TSC Support Engineer who can combine technical expertise, customer focus, and innovation to strengthen our global Technical Support Center (TSC). In this role, you'll help improve processes, prevent recurring issues, and drive support excellence across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Support & Escalation Management\nAct as a senior technical resource for complex diagnostic and support cases.\nAnalyze recurring technical issues and identify root causes and improvement opportunities.\nSupport the flow of Argus cases and contribute to reducing overall case lead times.\nCoordinate cross-functional problem-solving activities involving technical support, development, and quality functions.\nContribute to investigations and provide data-driven recommendations for corrective actions.\nOperational Excellence & Process Improvement\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the TSC support chain.\nDevelop and implement automation solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve efficiency and visibility.\nIdentify systemic issues and proactively work to eliminate recurring support cases.\nParticipate in audits and quality reviews to strengthen support processes and case-handling standards.\nLead process improvement activities both locally and globally.\nQuality & Knowledge Management\n\nConduct case quality audits and provide constructive feedback to support teams.\nLead global GDSP documentation activities and ensure knowledge is maintained and shared effectively.\nDevelop troubleshooting methodologies, best practices, and support playbooks.\nSupport validation activities for systems, content, diagnostic tools, and pilot programs.\nCoaching & Team Development\nCoach and support TSC team members in handling complex technical cases.\nDeliver training and competency development activities for support coordinators and engineers.\nServe as a mentor and role model for technical and operational excellence.\nFoster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.\nStakeholder Collaboration\nWork closely with Product Development, Application Support, Content Teams, and Quality organizations.\nParticipate in forums such as field quality meetings (FQM), quality reviews, and global support communities.\nAct as the primary contact for assigned TSC work packages, Truck Dealer support issue related GDSP platform.\nRepresent the customer perspective and provide feedback that influences future product and support improvements.\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in technical support, diagnostics, quality, or related engineering functions.\nStrong knowledge of diagnostic tools, troubleshooting methodologies, and support processes.\nExperience with process development, quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKnowledge of reporting and automation tools (Python, Power BI, or similar) is an advantage.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.\nExperience coaching, mentoring, or training colleagues is highly desirable.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a global environment.\nPersonal Attributes\nCustomer-focused with a proactive mindset.\nStructured, professional, and result-oriented.\nStrong collaboration and relationship-building skills.\nComfortable challenging existing ways of working constructively.\nPassionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical specialists and business stakeholders.\nSelf-driven, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.\nWorking Relationships\nYou will collaborate extensively with:\nTSC Extended Team\nFront Office and Back Office organizations\nProduct Development teams\nApplication and Content Support teams\nQuality and Diagnostics organizations\nGlobal TSC network and stakeholders\nWhy Join Us?\nAt Volvo Group, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction, product quality, and support excellence.
