You will work at the intersection of product strategy, commercial operations, product engineering, and production operations.\nIn this role, you will:\nAssist with the development of reports, dashboards, automations, and analytical solutions.\nTransform data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights that support business and commercial decisions.\nIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, business processes, and decision-making through automation and data analytics.\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to practical, scalable data solutions.\nDocument analytical methods, data sources, and solution requirements to support ongoing use and continuous improvement.\nCommunicate findings through concise visualizations, summaries, and presentations.\nWho are you?\nYou are a curious and motivated student who wants to develop practical experience in business intelligence, analytics, and process automation. You enjoy solving problems, helping others, and turning business questions into clear analytical solutions.\nYou are comfortable learning new technologies, asking thoughtful questions, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Through this internship, you will gain experience translating business terminology and requirements into shared understanding and useful data solutions.\nYou are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Information Technology, Business Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. \nSpring interns may work up to 30 hours per week. \nApplicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75\nMinimum Education and Experience:\nWe would also value coursework, project experience, or familiarity with one or more of the following:\nPower BI, SQL, Azure Databricks, Power Automate, Microsoft SharePoint, Python\nQuerying, combining, and analyzing data from multiple sources\nData visualization and dashboard design\nStatistical concepts and techniques, including regression, probability distributions, and hypothesis testing\nRequirements gathering, process documentation, or workflow automation\nAt the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $17.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
