With production sites across Europe, North and South America, India and China, we serve customers worldwide through a competitive global remanufacturing network.\nThe China site produces remanufactured engines, hydraulics and other service market products, with the potential to grow product and business portfolio by supporting the Asia-Pacific region.\nWe are looking for a passionate and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing Reman+ team and play a key role in building new remanufacturing operations, from product industrialization to manufacturing process development.\nAs a Manufacturing Engineer, Engine Remanufacturing, you will be part of the engineering team that supports production with technical solutions for production processes, equipment and layout, as well as implementation of new products and product design changes related to engine products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the local production site and be the connection with Product Development and Pilot Plants in product/design related questions and changes. \nDesign, develop, and implement new or revised remanufacturing processes for the cost-efficient reman/refurbish products. \nDesign and set requirements for manufacturing equipment and tools. \nDesign and optimize factory layout set-up. \nDevelop and maintain work instructions for production teams. \nLead or participate in new product industrialization projects. \nManagement of BOMs and Design Change Notifications. \nLead and coordinate maintenance activities. \nParticipate in pre-study projects of new remanufactured products and manufacturing technologies. \nSupport the production team for technical related matters. \nSupport Quality cases when needed. \nClosely work and collaborate with global engineering and logistics teams in France/Sweden/China. \nWho are you?\nBachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics or a related Engineering field.\nAt least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing engineering or a related role, preferred in powertrain systems (Engine, Transmission, Hydraulics...etc) industries.\nExperience in green field plant/production line is an advantage.\nExperience in aftermarket service, reman or technical training is an advantage.\nSkilled in CAD tools.\nKnowledge of safety procedures.\nUnderstand the reman technology framework and trend, is a plus.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProject management experience and ability to work cross-functionally.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nFluent in English and Chinese, in speaking and writing.\nOpen to occasional overseas business trips.\nWe value your data privacy and therefore do not accept applications via mail.\nWho we are and what we believe in\nWe are committed to shaping the future landscape of efficient, safe, and sustainable transport solutions.
