To execute the duties pertaining to the reception and the switchboard efficiently, with pride and dignity.\nReporting: This position reports to the Branch Manager.\nJob Objectives:\nBe the front face for the branch\nAssist all departments.\nFull responsibility of the switchboard which includes receiving calls, taking and disseminating messages.\nPromptly answer phones.\nTransfer incoming calls to respective extension.\nEnsure accurate messages taken when persons are not available.\nReceive guests/visitors. \nEnsure person being visited is promptly advised and give feedback to guests/visitors.\nHandling client queries and complaints.\nFacilitate posting of goods and documents through courier services.\nEnsure that internal mail is sent to the Dealer Network via Sky Net couriers.\nUpdating of courier records.\nAssistance with faxing, copying and scanning when required.\nGeneral administration duties when required. \nWho are you?\nDo you dream big? In this role, you will bring:\nQualification & Job Experience\nMatric/N4\nReceptionist/Secretarial/Administration Qualification an advantage.\n3 years reception and switchboard experience.\nStrong administrative background.\nComputer literate. \nUnderstanding and working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.\nKey Competencies\nExcellent telephone skills.\nAttention to detail.\nSelf-motivated.\nExcellent customer and interpersonal skills.\nCommunication skills. \nVerbal and written.\nListening skills.\nUnderstanding of diverse cultures.\nShort listed candidates must complete and sign personal verification permission, consent and indemnity declarations, to inter alia perform reference, criminal, credit, qualification, vetting process (if applicable to position) and any other checks deemed necessary.\nVolvo Group Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd is an affirmative action, equal employment opportunity employer.
