The Operations team is responsible for initiation and administration of retail documentation, funding and post-closing servicing on transportation, construction, coach, and related equipment transactions.\nYour future team\nThe Operations team supports dealers, end-users of equipment, and internal employees by providing timely documentation, funding, security perfection services, title tracking and releases, insurance tracking, contract file management, customer account billing services, and a host of additional contract maintenance related services. In this role, you will create a best-in-class customer experience by ensuring positive and flawless customer onboarding with VFS.\nYou will be part of an on-site team in Greensboro, NC.\nResponsibilities\nManage and audit documentation preparation and execution, including communications withdealers, customers, District Finance Manager’s, and legal counsel. Ensure accuracy andsufficiency of all contract package submissions. Track and follow-up on any missing items ensuringdocumentation packages are ready for funding in a timely manner.\nApproach the position with a continuous improvement mindset, identifying areas for improvementand contributing to the implementation of improvements.\nRecord all retail financing transactions in the contract management system for prompt and accurateinvoicing to the customer.\nManage and proactively support Internal and External customers by providing a superior level ofservice as well as a proactive and educational approach to industry issues and concerns.\nPositively influence Customer Experience by resolving all customer contract inquiries, includingbut not limited to, billing, payment, contract/asset payoff and termination requests, with a highlevel of urgency and accuracy.\nAssist with completing various Contract and Asset management tasks relating to, Insurance, Titles,UCC and Contract file management required to complete each transaction.\nAssist in the perfection of security interest and/or titling for all collateral, including insuranceverification and Article 9 requirements.\nAssist in training any related parties on all requirements within Retail Operations.\nActively participate as a member of a cross-functional team while also developing closerelationships with internal functional areas to gain a detailed understanding of their processes andprocedures and how they relate and influence the overall Customer Experience. These areas willinclude risk management, legal, credit, sales & marketing, insurance, and accounting.\nParticipate in defining the business requirements for designing and testing a state-of-the-art systemto streamline the deal flow process and maximize turnaround times.\nAssist in developing procedures and related training materials to ensure all Retail Operations areasare operating effectively, while in compliance with all VFS policies and guidelines.\nAssist Legal Counsel in identifying opportunities to streamline our documentation packageswithout sacrificing our security interest in the equipment, or the enforceability of the documents.\nAssist with completing pre- and post-booking audits of existing contracts to ensure alldocumentation is complete and properly executed.\nAssist other VFS areas with risk analysis for existing accounts in need of modification and/orworkout.\nBe a model for The Volvo Way and ensure The Code of Conduct is being followed.\nWho are you?\nDo you dream big? In this role, you will bring:\nEducation and Experience\nBA or BS in business or related field or equivalent experience.\n3 or more years progressive sales/customer service/loan or lease operations experience in the finance industry, preferably with heavy equipment.\nCredit, accounting, and pricing knowledge and experience is a plus.\nExperience managing customer issues including proactive problem solving, research and analysis with a focus on win-win solutions.\nProven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and effectively work on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment.\nExperience working in a professional environment where sound business judgment, attention to detail, a fast pace and a flexible and adaptable approach are valued.\nDemonstrated high level of integrity, energy, and a positive customer and quality focus with ability to work within a team environment.\nProven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nFluency in reading, writing and speaking English; additional languages a plus.\nPrior captive equipment finance and leasing company experience preferred.\nReady for the next move?\nAt the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth. For this position, the base pay is set at $54,000.00 - $66,000.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
