If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.\nWhat you will do\nAt Volvo Trucks you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.\nThe main purpose of the job is to manage the activities of workshop employees to meet required departmental targets at the required levels of efficiency and service deliver.\nReporting: The role reports to the Branch Manager.\nJob Objectives:\nTo ensure you achieve the strategic business plan and objectives.\nTo meet or exceed planned performance against the following KPI’s:Parts sales and Gross Profit (GP).\nWorkshop sales and Gross Profit (GP).\nMaterials & Conversions.\nS & A Expense Control (Profit and Loss Statement).\nAftermarket absorption.\nOperating Income / Margin.\n\nTo ensure that you and employees comply with all Health and Safety requirements in the execution of their duties.\nDrive customer satisfaction by ensuring that all activities are customer centric and value adding.\nEnsure that WIP is managed by correctly allocating costs and invoicing work at the earliest opportunity whilst adhering to the Company’s work instructions and procedures.\nEnsure a full staff compliment at all times and ensuring that procedures are followed in line with relevant policies.\nEnsure the completion of performance evaluations on a regular basis.\nEffectively communicating with Business Control to ensure consistency with projections.\nCoordinating regular meetings with the managers to ensure their profitability and efficiency.\nTo manage, develop and motivate employees in accordance with Company policy and culture.\nOverseeing and maintaining compensation plans for all employees as per the company policy.\nEnsure that all performance touch points and dialogues be completed on a regular basis.\nEnsure that all Volvo Group policies and procedures are adhered to and that all legislation is complied to.\nEnsure that the dealer is run as efficiently as possible.\nSupervision of daily staff activities.\nEffective daily planning of work ensuring efficiency at all times.\nAllocate available Technician according to the production plans.\nEnsuring high level of customer satisfaction is met consistently.\nLiaise with service advisor to ensure correct completion and processing of documentation.\nMonitor and control progress of jobs ensuring feedback to service advisors.\nEnsure relevant technical literature is in place providing guidance where required.\nEnsure that Technicians comply with the Volvo Standards.\nEnsure necessary control of workshop equipment, vehicles and special tools.\nObserve and follow directives given in policies, instructions as well as SHEQ.\nEnsure road testing and programming of vehicles according to required standards.\nEnsure vehicle testing is carried out.\nAddress any issues of poor workmanship immediately.\nWho are you?\nDo you dream big?
