We’re hiring a coordinator to help conceive, create and execute communications to help our employees and other stakeholders understand where we’re headed and how we’ll get there. We're seeking an exceptional communicator who excels in storytelling through videos, graphics, photography, and live events. This individual will work both independently and collaboratively to bring our stories to life.\nThis is how you could make an impact:\nThe Visual and Digital Communications Coordinator builds understanding of our business strategies and performance, our challenges, our people and our values and helps strengthen connections across the group. We’re looking for someone who can take complex ideas and translate them into something clean, clear, informative, impactful and digital, whether it’s a video, a graphic, a motion graphic or a photograph. This role works closely with members of the site management team, corporate communications department, and cross-functionally with colleagues at Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks North America, and Volvo Group. The role reports to the Director of Communications.\nThe coordinator will:\nStoryboard, film and edit video communications to support our business plans and goals. \nUse video and digital content to help employees and other stakeholders understand business objectives and accomplishments.\nManage pre-production aspects for different types of projects, often concurrently.\nDemonstrate fluency in graphic design principles and effectively apply them across various media.\nBe comfortable with streaming/broadcast production.\nHave photography and lighting proficiencies.\nConvert ideas and stories into compelling graphics and PowerPoint slides.\nManage relationships with affiliated freelancers, as required.\nPerform other duties, as assigned.\nWho are you?\nWho Are You:\nA holder of a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related fields (preferred) with at least five years of experience in communications.\nA highly skilled video production professional.\nA creative problem-solver.\nSkilled with the Adobe CC suite of tools, including Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.\nSkilled with photography (DSLRs, mirrorless), lighting techniques, etc.\nGraphic design experience, including strong layout, typographical, and strategic problem-solving processes.\nSkilled in Microsoft Office applications with demonstrable experience with PowerPoint presentations.\nExperience working with web-based applications and publishing tools.\nFlexible, adaptive. For this position, the base pay is set at $75,000 - $90,000 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
