At the same time, we actively contribute to the Volvo Group’s sustainability transformation by enabling circular and electromobility services, reducing emissions and waste in our operations, and helping shape a service ecosystem that is better for our people, our planet, and our company.\nThis position is on site in Justin, Texas.\nDescription/Responsibility\nResponsible for the picking, packing and completion of Dealer orders in a safe and timely manner\nResponsible for the put-away of inbound material according to prescribed procedures while meeting benchmarks set by management and the company\nResponsible for carrying out all responsibilities in a manner which is not only safe to the individual, but also safe to the environment they are working in\nEnsure all orders are completed with quality as a constant objective while working towards zero errors\nParticipate in all Safety/Quality/Environmental and Improvement programs\nParticipate in all company initiatives such as the Employee Survey, Idea Generation and VPS\nCommunicate any irregularities to designated Supervisors or Managers\nInteract in a respective manner with Co-workers as required\nResponsible for adhering to all work rules and rules of conduct set by management and the company\nAdhere to established punctuality and attendance standards\nRegularly meet multiple deadlines while handling emergency requests in a timely manner\nMust be available to work any/flexible warehouse shift schedule\nMust be flexible and be available to work overtime on an as needed basis including but not limited to nights, weekends and holidays\nComplies with company rules and policies and follows instructions from supervisory and management personnel\nAuthority\nAuthorized to complete any/all Dealer orders from start to finish with the exception that all irregularities must be modified or addressed by a Supervisor or other authorized personnel\nAuthorized to complete the put-away process of inbound material with the exception of irregularities must be modified or addressed by a Supervisor or other authorized personnel\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or 3 to 6 months related material handling equipment experience.\nAbility to pass a basic skills test to include reading and mathematics\nAbility to carry out instructions according to established procedures\nAbility to work overtime on an as needed basis\nProficiency in the English language, required, as all documentation is in English\nPhysical Demands\nRequired to be able to lift up to 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and 75lbs rarely\nFrequently required to reach with arms and hands\nRequired to stand, walk and use hands to handle tools/controls\nRequired to sit, balance and crouch\nVision (must be corrected 20/40) and hearing abilities (auxiliary aids and services allowed) required\nRequired to operate heavy industrial equipment (i.e., forklift) and work at heights up to 25 feet, on raised platform\nTo be met with or without accommodation.\nAt the Volvo Group, we strive for a clear, transparent, and straightforward compensation approach, motivating you to contribute to the company’s growth.
