As Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering these objectives by providing the structure, coordination, and delivery rigour needed to support the modernisation of Vonage’s global routing infrastructure while maintaining 24x5 operational continuity. You will oversee a complex, multi-year programme spanning infrastructure migration, automation development, and operational model changes, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and within scope, risks are proactively managed, senior stakeholders are kept informed, and cross-functional teams remain aligned.\nYour key responsibilities:\nOwn end-to-end delivery of Technical Routing & Quality initiatives, including the IBM-to-AWS SMS and voice migration, routing automation programmes, and supplier/carrier onboarding improvements.\nDevelop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reports to track progress, dependencies, risks, and milestones across active workstreams.\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, as well as steering meetings across distributed, multi-timezone teams.\nCoordinate cross-functional dependencies across Engineering, Carrier Partnerships, Product, Finance, and Operations, ensuring alignment on deliverables and priorities.\nManage stakeholder communications by providing clear, concise updates to senior leadership and external partners, while following up with suppliers and carriers to keep milestones on track.\nProactively identify, assess, track, and escalate risks and issues, driving resolution across team boundaries; support vendor management and operational transitions, including on-call rota changes and Apps/API platform consolidation.\nMaintain project documentation, audit trails, and knowledge transfer in Jira and Confluence, while driving continuous improvement in project planning and execution practices.\nWhat you'll bring\n5+ years of project or programmemanagement experience, ideally in telecom, CPaaS, or SaaS \nA proven track recordof delivering projects to deadline \nStrong command of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum and/or waterfall) and tooling (Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Power BI) \nStrong supplier and vendor management skills, with demonstrable experience chasing milestones and holding suppliers to account \nAbility to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities and dependencies \nExcellent stakeholder management skills - comfortable presenting to and influencing senior leaders \nStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical complexity into clear business language \nExperience working with distributed, multi-timezoneengineering teams \nExperience we consider a plus:\nFormal project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) \nWorking knowledge of SMS, voice, RCS, or APIs - or the ability to learn fast in a technical environment \nExperience managing data centremigration or cloud transition programmes \nFamiliarity with the Vonage API or Applications platform stack \nHow you’ll benefit:\nAttractive Discretionary Time Off\nPrivate Medical Insurance with optional dependent coverage\nEducational Assistance Reimbursement Program\nOpportunities for reimbursement for conferences, trainings, and other personal development events\nMaternity and Paternity Leave\nAdditional benefits and perks will be shared and discussed with you by the recruiter during the interview process\nThere’s no perfect candidate.
