If you're looking for a challenging, rewarding career where no two days are the same and your technical skills make a real impact.\nInstall and commission new CNC machinery.\n\nPerform preventive maintenance and routine service.\n\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.\n\nDiagnose equipment problems and make repairs to keep customers up and running.\n\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.\n\nCalibrate and test machines after installation or repair.\n\nTrain customers on machine operation and basic maintenance.\n\nComplete service reports and communicate findings professionally.\n\nTravel to customer locations throughout the region, with overnight travel.\n\nRequirements\nRequirements\nMinimum of 2+ years of experience servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing CNC machinery, machine tools, or industrial equipment preferred.\n\nExperience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, automation, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automotive, military, or a related technical field will also be considered.\n\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.\n\nWorking knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and CNC controls.\n\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.\n\nExperience using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment such as multimeters\n\nAbility to install, calibrate, and commission CNC machinery and verify proper machine operation.\n\nStrong computer skills for completing service reports, documenting repairs, and communicating with customers and internal teams.\n\nExcellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work independently, manage service schedules, and prioritize multiple assignments.\n\nWillingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned region, including overnight travel as needed.\n\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work in industrial manufacturing environments.\n\nTechnical degree, apprenticeship, military technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred but not required.\n\nWe offer\nPaid Time Off (i.e., PTO) that can be used as it’s accrued\n\nPaid Holidays effective date of hire\n\nMedical insurance (i.e., three plans available, PPO, HMO*, and PPO with HSA) effective date of hire\n\nDental care\n\nVision care\n\n100% Voortman USA LLC paid life insurance\n\nAdditional voluntary life insurance option\n\n100% Voortman USA LLC paid short-term disability\n\n50/50 premium split between Voortman USA LLC and employee for long-term disability (i.e., LTD)\n\n401K plan available with Company contribution\n\nAbout Voortman\nJoin Voortman -\nVoortman is growing and we’re preparing to move into our brand-new Production Facility and Offices.
