production AI systems that retailers rely on every day.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign and ship agentic product systems, not just software features.\nPartner with product managers, designers, and customers to identify problems where AI agents can meaningfully improve workflows.\nDesign and implement agent architectures including reasoning, planning, tool use, and feedback loops.\nBuild the infrastructure that powers AI systems including:\norchestration frameworks\ncontext pipelines\nevaluation frameworks\nknowledge systems\nevent-driven architectures\nWork across the full stack from backend orchestration and data pipelines to user-facing interfaces that make AI systems understandable and trustworthy.\nShip fast prototypes, run experiments, and turn promising ideas into production systems used by retailers at scale.\nContinuously integrate emerging AI capabilities and tools to increase both product intelligence and engineering velocity.\nImprove how Vori builds software by helping the organization adopt agentic development workflows including AI-assisted coding, testing, debugging, and design.\nContribute to the evolution of Vori’s agentic development platform including infrastructure, tooling, and internal standards.\nWhat we’re looking for\nYou are an engineer who wants to build AI-native products, not bolt AI onto existing systems.\n3-8+ years building production software systems.\nStrong ability to build across the stack including backend services, data pipelines, and user-facing applications.\nExperience working with or deep interest in technologies such as:\nLLM APIs\nagent frameworks and orchestration systems\nvector search and retrieval systems\nevaluation and feedback pipelines\nevent-driven systems\nYou think in systems, not just endpoints.\nYou move quickly from idea → prototype → production.\nYou care deeply about customer outcomes, not just technical novelty.\nYou’re excited about shaping how teams build in an AI-native engineering
