We are on a mission to empower humanity to lead a healthier life.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nIn this hands-on role, you will support the implementation and modernization of secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, AWS and other systems to help build and maintain Infrastructure as Code including using logging and monitoring systems. Manage application containers using Docker and Amazon EKS to support releases, patching, and bug fix. You will troubleshoot build, release, and manage issues across the development lifecycle while applying secure engineering practices, following the direction of Sr DevOps team member, to strengthen delivery consistency, platform resilience, and the protection of Vori Health’s systems and data.\nEssential Functions:\n\nOperational Support & Continuous Improvement\n\nMonitor pipeline health and deployment reliability\nIdentify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and simplify processes\nDeploying and managing containerized microservices using Docker and Amazon EKS.\nKubernetes troubleshooting using kubectl, including reviewing logs and events and applying approved YAML configurations.\nKubernetes workloads, services, and persistent storage concepts (PVs/PVCs).\nAWS networking, including VPCs, public/private subnets, security groups, and least-privilege access.\nSupport implementation of logging, monitoring, and basic operational practices using tools like DataDog.\nCollaborate with the Product and Data teams to maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure across AWS\nMonitor application and server health, learning to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues.\nExplore the integration of AI tools and concepts into our DevOps workflows.\nMaintain and update documentation for systems, processes, and infrastructure.\nWho You Are\nRequired:\n\n2+ years of hands-on experience in software development, IT, or DevOps-related work (including internships, co-ops, or equivalent practical experience)\nFamiliarity with domain and DNS management using Cloudflare.\nExposure to AWS services, including IAM, IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO), S3, EC2, VPC, Elastic Load Balancing (ALB/NLB), Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, EKS, and Amazon Connect.\nTechnical Skills - Foundational knowledge of:\nGit-based version control (GitHub preferred)\nCI/CD concepts and tooling\nScripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript)\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform or similar)\nDevOps Fundamentals - Understanding of:\nCI/CD pipelines and automation\nBranching strategies and code management\nAgile or iterative delivery models\nCollaboration & Delivery Support\nWork with development, infrastructure, and security teams to support end-to-end delivery\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement and technical tasks\nSupport knowledge sharing through documentation and team collaboration\nSupport CI/CD pipeline tasks, gaining hands-on experience with tools like Docker, and Kubernetes.\nNice-to-Haves:\nKnowledge of HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, or healthcare IT compliance standards\nExperience with AI tools to assist with coding and code review\nWork authorization/security clearance requirements:\nAuthorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada. \nPhysical Requirements/Work Environment:\nRemote work environment. \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard. \nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. \nCompany Benefits:\nAt Vori Health, we believe in fostering a supportive and rewarding work environment for our team members.
