including scanning, payments, receipts, and drawer operations\n\nCoordinate with internal onboarding and support teams to confirm readiness for go-live\n\nTrain store staff on basic hardware usage and operational best practices\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, connectivity, or configuration issues during installation\n\nDocument installation details, issues encountered, and store sign-off upon completion.\n\nAdhere to installation standards, safety guidelines, and customer experience expectations\n\nTravel to customer sites as required, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed\n\nQualifications & Skills:\nRequired:\n2+ years of experience installing POS systems,\n\nIT equipment, or retail technology\n\nHands-on experience with iOS devices (iPads, iOS settings, device configuration)\n\nFamiliarity with grocery store environments and front-end checkout operations\n\nExperience installing peripherals such as receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, and payment terminals\n\nBasic networking knowledge (Ethernet, WiFi, IP addressing, connectivity testing)\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\n\nProfessional, customer-facing communication skills\nAbility to lift and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs)\n\nWillingness to travel extensively within assigned territory\n\nPreferred:\nExperience installing POS systems specifically for grocery stores\n\nFamiliarity with payment devices and EMV requirements\n\nExperience with cable routing, countertop drilling, or light mounting work\n\nAbility to read and follow installation
