The key goal of the Branch Manager will be to provide oversight of business operations and leadership guidance to the Service Center. Vortex Industries is seeking a Branch Manager to actively lead an installation and service business while ensuring a continued focus on exceptional Customer Service and maintaining a great place to work for our employees.\nThis leader will report to a Regional Director at Vortex.\nManage a Service Center ensuring and maintaining direct, productive, and positive relationships between management and employees\nDeliver a profitable operation through managing the operations, staffing, and expenses of the Service Center\nDevelop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost of operations and improve service level, productivity, and quality\nDrive operational excellence and best practices to improve quality, service, cost & safety\nSets a tone of excellence for customer satisfaction at every stage of service\nMaintains a high level of quality and timely service to customers for maximum retention\nManage ongoing relationships with key partners and customers\nManage team to achieve Service Center goals by allocating workload and effectively managing resources\nResponsible for hiring, developing and retaining employees to include the highest quality individuals to support continuous improvement\nSupport the personal and professional development of employees through performance objectives and coaching\nSets expectations for all SC team members and balances accountability with honest feedback and recognition\nPossess a complete understanding of the full job responsibilities of every position within the Service Center\nProvide strategic leadership and foster collaboration across the Service Center\nSupports Company’s objectives and procedures and ensures documentation is submitted on time\nLeads a culture of safety through awareness, training, and accountability\nEnsure all federal and state safety, regulatory, and compliance measures are met\nOversee, implement, and maintain compliance with company and OSHA guidelines to create and maintain a safe working environment for all employees\nShare best practices with colleagues to drive productivity improvements and realize cost reductions\nRepresent Vortex in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the company\nOther duties as assigned\nRequirements\nMinimum of ten (10) years’ experience of door industry experience and a minimum of five (5) years’ of managing operations with P&L oversite.\nKnowledge of budgeting processes and performance reporting.\nExcellent leadership and communication skills.\nMust be a self-starter who is detail-oriented and well-organized.\nExperience in outside sales and in-person customer business development.\nProven people development and conflict resolution skills.\nPossess an ability for technical applications, mechanically inclined, and problem solving.\nAbility to quickly and accurately assess and address complex problems using creative approaches.\nDemonstrated strategic thinking skills that portray the ability to conceptualize business requirements in a proactive manner.\nExperience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel and experience hiring, training, developing and conducting annual performance reviews.\nClear understanding and adherence to ethical principles, company values, code of conduct and policies.\nAble to work in a fiscally conservative organization which can require flexibility and diversity of responsibilities.\nTravel: As necessary to job sites and company meetings\nSalary Description\n$125,000.00 -
