This role requires hands-on involvement in design coordination, prototype development, testing validation, internal cross-functional alignment, and supplier coordination. We are looking for someone who can independently manage development activities from concept to production readiness.\n\nThe candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions: \n\nProduct Development Cycle Management (End-to-End Ownership): \nManage the complete Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) from: Concept & feasibility, Design team coordination, Prototype development, Testing & validation, Quality team coordination, Production team coordination.\nEnsure timelines, technical accuracy, and cost targets are achieved.\nSupport continuous product improvement and value engineering initiatives.\n\nInternal Cross-Functional Coordination: \nClosely coordinate with:\nDesign Team - Design inputs, drawing updates, technical modifications.\nTesting Department - Prototype testing and performance validation.\nProduction - Manufacturability and process feasibility.\nQuality - Inspection standards and validation reports.\nPurchase - Raw material and component sourcing.\nSample Development Team - Sample preparation and approvals.\nEnsure smooth technical communication and execution across departments.\n\nPrototype Development, Testing and Validation: \nCoordinate prototype manufacturing and sample preparation.\nMonitor and define testing procedures for performance, reliability, and safety.\nAnalyse testing data and validate results against design objectives.\nPrepare structured technical reports and performance analysis documentation.\nImplement corrective improvements based on test findings.\n\nExternal Supplier Coordination: \nCoordinate with external vendors and suppliers for: Development components, Special parts, Tooling & custom materials.\nEnsure supplier quality, specification compliance, and timely delivery.\nSupport vendor development and technical clarifications.\n\nTechnical Documentation and Reporting: \nMaintain: Design calculations, Product specifications, Test reports, BOM updates.\n\nRequirements: \nDiploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.\n3-6 years of experience in: Electromagnetic clutches & brakes, Industrial mechanical/electromechanical product development.\nStrong knowledge of: Torque, RPM, duty cycle, Heat dissipation concepts, Mechanical design fundamentals.\nHands-on exposure to prototype testing and validation processes.\nExperience in a manufacturing-based engineering environment.\nKnowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD / SolidWorks preferred).\n\nIdeal Candidate Profile: \nSelf-driven and capable of handling end-to-end product development.\nStrong analytical mindset with structured reporting ability.\nComfortable working in an MSME manufacturing setup.\nGood coordination and communication skills.\nSkills\nautocad,
