In this role, you will partner with the business units, external companies and IT team members to improve the systems and processes. You will be responsible for leading initiatives from design through implementation, guiding systems development, doing analysis on issues and providing production support. The Systems Analyst ensures that the systems and processes are providing the results needed to support business needs. Whether it is process improvement or new system designs, Systems Analysts are responsible for understanding the needs and then translating those into requirements and an executable plan.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nQuickly and accurately assess system abilities/limitations against business needs.\nAssist in the design, deployment and training of new systems and system changes.\nOversee short and long-term initiatives to improve system functionality and performance.\nAssist with translating business requirements into functional requirements and system specs.\nCommunicate deliverables, status updates and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.\nMonitor data integrity to ensure consistent and accurate data is being used across systems.\nRespond to tickets and requests to triage and resolve user and system issues.\nWork with 3rd party vendors to assist with servicing company systems.\nConduct root cause analysis to identify the source of issues and make the needed changes to resolve them.\nMonitor system performance and effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement.\nParticipate in projects as a technical expert.\nCreate clear and concise documentation around system processes, data flows, etc.\nUnderstand the business area’s processes and needs to better align the technical solutions to meeting those needs.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nMinimum 3 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise systems and architecture.\nDetailed knowledge of data and system processes and technology.\nStrong technical aptitude and initiative with the ability to think analytically.\nExpertise in writing SQL scripts to move, extract and report on data.\nTrack record of building relationships and collaborating with cross functional teams.\nCollaborative, team player with get-it-done attitude.\nExceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks.\nPreferred Experience and Skills\nExpertise with enterprise-wide systems, including ERP, WMS, EDI and CRM.\nExperience with data integration tools and processes.\nExperience supporting manufacturing, supply chain or retail operations.\nExperience leading information technology-related projects, such as system implementations.\nWhen you join Team Vortex, you’ll enjoy:\nGreat health, dental and vision insurance\nPaid time off (PTO) and holidays\n401(k), life insurance and short- and long-term disability\nEmployee Ownership Opportunities \nVarious onsite amenities including a fitness center, a nature preserve with walking trails and dog friendly work areas\nNeighboring daycare facility\nCasual and flexible work environment\nEmployee discounts on industry leading products\nMany more excellent benefits and employee perks \nWhat’s it like to join Team Vortex?\nFrom the production floor to the repair room, from consumer sales to new product development, we’re a growing team of makers and doers, working together to give our customers an experience they’ll never forget.
