You'll be the bridge between the Reconeyez Cloud and our customers' ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre), VMS, or PSIM systems - making sure security events flow reliably and in real time to the platforms our customers depend on every day.\nThis is a hands-on engineering role. You'll work primarily in Go, designing and maintaining integration modules that connect our backend to external systems like Genetec, MASterMind, Patriot, and others. We're still shaping our integrations platform, which means you'll have a real opportunity to contribute to something that matters -helping make the world a safer place.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild & maintain integration modules that forward events (alarms, battery low, connection lost/restored, etc.) from the Reconeyez Cloud to third-party ARC, VMS, or PSIM platforms (Genetec, MASterMind, Patriot, and others)\nDevelop the alarm forwarding pipeline - our core integration mechanism - ensuring reliable, real-time delivery of security events\nAutomate integration workflows to reduce manual setup and improve scalability across customer deployments\nLeverage agent-driven development tools and practices - we provide access and encourage their use\nDesign and extend integration APIs that enable new third-party connections with minimal custom code\nBuild a flexible yet robust and reliable integrations platform, and take ownership of its quality -including testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement\nContainerize and deploy integration services\nMonitor and troubleshoot live integrations, diagnosing issues across system boundaries\nCollaborate on architecture decisions, particularly around moving business logic closer to the client where appropriate\n Must have:\nRelated technical education (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar)\nExperience with Go, Rust, C++, or other compiled languages\nExperience with containerized deployments\nUnderstanding of event-driven architectures and message/alarm forwarding patterns\nExperience integrating with third-party APIs and platforms (VMS systems, security platforms, or similar)\nAwareness of secure development principles - we work in the security business, and our software must reflect that\nA self-starter mindset paired with being a strong team player who can align with agreed goals\nDetail-oriented - integrations break at the edges; you care about error handling, edge cases, and data integrity\nNice to have:\nFamiliarity with video management systems (Genetec or similar)\nExperience with security and surveillance industry protocols (ONVIF, SIA DC-09, SurGard, etc.)\nKnowledge of NATS, Protobuf, and application/transport layer protocols\nExperience working with embedded/IoT systems or bridge devices\nExperience with Java\n Level\nMid-level (2-5+ years of relevant engineering experience).
