The Product Owner works closely with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritize, and refine product requirements based on business objectives and user needs. The Product Owner plays a key role as a bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring that deliverables are aligned with the company’s overall strategy.\nKey Responsibilities\nContribute to defining the product vision in collaboration with Product Directors and stakeholders.\nResponsible for developing and maintaining the product delivery roadmap and deployment strategies.\nResponsible for managing the backlog by prioritizing the delivery sequence and writing user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria. (Partnership with BA depending on the project)\nGather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with Solution Architects and Firmware, Electronics, and Mechanical Developers.\nParticipate in design reviews, acceptance testing, and post-delivery follow-up.\nLead and/or participate in each stage of the product development lifecycle: exploration, development, releases, and product stabilization (issues).\nContribute to the governance of physical product development, notably by providing visibility into roadmaps, risks and issues, and by raising mitigation plans.\nManage and prioritize the defect list and follow up on fixes.\nIdentify risks and issues and contribute to implementing mitigation plans.\nManage stakeholders.\nEnsure smooth and ongoing communication between disciplines to support the consistent integration of solutions into products.\nMobilize teams around the vision.\n Qualifications\nUniversity degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field.\nA minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Product Owner (PO), Functional Analyst, or hybrid role.\nExperience in the field of physical electronic products (cameras, IoT, embedded systems).\nGood understanding of embedded systems, electronics, and firmware development.\nProficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools: JIRA, Confluence.\nGood understanding of technical constraints and development processes.\nStrong ability to structure and organize team work around clear and measurable objectives.\nAdaptability in the face of uncertainty and changing priorities.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to create an environment of trust and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nAbility to analyze and document functional requirements and solutions in a multidisciplinary environment.\nCollaborative leadership and ability to mobilize teams.\nStrong organizational skills, rigour, and autonomy.\nAbility to manage short-term priorities vs. long-term vision.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly (FR/EN).\nBilingual in French and English (may need to communicate with people outside the province).\nAvailable to travel to Montreal or Victoriaville a few times per month.\n Additional information\nAt VOSKER, we value the uniqueness of every individual and celebrate the diversity that helps us redefine what’s possible.
