In addition to contributing directly to the code across the entire technology stack, you will act as a technical reference for the team: you will support less experienced developers, influence architectural decisions, and help raise quality standards. Your decisions will have a direct and visible impact on the product and on the team’s growth.\nResponsibilities\nDevelopmen t\nDesign, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, tested, and reliable code on both the front end and back end;\nDesign and evolve APIs and services;\nParticipate in architectural decisions and propose technical solutions tailored to business needs;\nPrepare detailed test plans and write automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end);\nDiagnose and resolve complex performance, security, and reliability issues in production;\nEvaluate new technologies and development tools and make recommendations;\nWrite and maintain technical documentation.\nMentoring and Technical Leadership\nSupport and mentor junior and intermediate developers through pair programming, knowledge sharing, and support in their development;\nLead code reviews with a constructive and educational approach;\nDefine, document, and promote the team’s coding standards and best practices;\nContribute to the technical onboarding of new team members;\nLead or participate in design workshops, estimation sessions, and deployment activities;\nCoordinate the various stages of the development cycle in collaboration with analysts, product owners, designers, and other developers;\nAct as a technical point of contact for non-technical stakeholders and explain technical issues in easy-to-understand terms.\n Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or another relevant field of study, or equivalent experience;\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in full stack development, including demonstrated experience mentoring or supporting developers;\nProficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React;\nStrong back-end development experience with Node.js and/or Go;\nExperience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and caching systems (Redis);\nExperience in system design: application architecture, APIs, data management, performance, and the BFF (backend-for-frontend) model;\nProficiency with Git and collaborative workflows;\nStrong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and best practices (clean code, testing, security);\nBilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written.
