We invite you to be part of our journey and leave your imprint on the future of AI.\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking a capable, detail-driven AI Integration & Data Engineer Intern to own the connective tissue of every project: the data plumbing and the integrations into the systems a client already runs. This role is ideal for a Master’s level student who uses AI coding tools to move fast but has the engineering depth to handle the part those tools are worst at bespoke integration with messy, real-world data. You will connect to client databases, APIs, and SaaS systems; extract, clean, transform, and move data so it is usable by AI features; and build the pipelines that feed the agents and retrieval systems your teammates create. More than half the real work of any AI project lives here, and it is the difference between a demo and something that runs in production.\nTools & Tech Stack:\nAI-native IDEs / editors: Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot; agentic CLI coders (Claude Code, Aider)\nBack-end: Node.js and/or Python\nDatabases & BaaS: PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase; familiarity with SQL\nData movement: APIs and webhooks, ETL/data pipelines, data cleaning and transformation\nIntegration & automation glue: MCP (Model Context Protocol), Zapier, Make, or n8n where useful\nVersion control & documentation: Git / GitHub, Notion\nKey Responsibilities:\nConnect to client systems - databases, APIs, CRMs, and other SaaS tools - and get data reliably out of and into them.\nExtract, clean, transform, and move data so it is structured and usable by AI features, including retrieval and agentic workflows.\nBuild and maintain data pipelines that feed the Applied AI Engineer’s RAG and agent systems with current, correct data.\nUse AI coding tools to accelerate integration work, while applying real engineering judgment to the bespoke, messy parts those tools handle poorly.\nHandle the practical realities of client data: undocumented schemas, inconsistent formats, partial records, and access constraints.\nApply data-handling, security, and privacy best practices throughout, especially with client data.\nCollaborate with the Builder and the Applied AI Engineer to ensure data flows cleanly end to end, and document integrations and pipelines in Notion so they are repeatable and maintainable.\nAbout You:\nCurrently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory.\nSolid back-end and data fundamentals: Python and/or Node.js, plus comfort with SQL and relational databases.\nDemonstrated experience using AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar) as a core part of how you build.\nHands-on experience moving data between systems - working with APIs, building simple pipelines, or cleaning and transforming real datasets.\nAbility to read, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code rather than accepting it blindly, particularly for integration logic.\nUnderstanding of databases, APIs, and asynchronous request handling.\nComfort working with incomplete, messy, or undocumented data and making sensible assumptions.\nAwareness of data security and privacy best practices.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills within a cross-functional team\nenvironment.\nNew graduates are encouraged to apply.\nWe believe exceptional talent often emerges from diverse paths.
