This role contributes significantly to architecture decisions, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates across teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that align with business priorities.\nProfile Description:\nDesign, build and own scalable and maintainable front-end and back-end systems using modern languages and frameworks.\nLeads development within the team for key application features, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.\nTranslate complex business requirements into technical solutions with minimal oversight.\nConduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best practices.\nWork cross-functionally across the team and collaborate with adjacent teams, including DevOps and QA to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies. \nEngage with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to technical planning.\nParticipate in system architecture discussions and clearly communicate proposals.\nTroubleshoot production issues and implement proactive monitoring and observability tools.\nKnowledge & Experience:\n4-6 years of experience in full stack or specialized software development roles.\nProficiency in at least one major front-end framework (React, Angular) and one back-end language (Node.js, Python, or Java).\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and CI/CD pipelines.\nDemonstrated experience mentoring junior developers.\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nCompensation Pay Disclosure:\nVoya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.\nThe below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.
