Following the upcoming retirement of a long-serving manager, we are looking for a leader who can ideas, new energy and a clear vision for the future while maintaining the warm, person-centred culture already in place.\nThe service supports a small group of adults who live full and active lives, accessing local community activities, social events, day opportunities and meaningful experiences. The people we support enjoy a welcoming home environment where independence, choice and quality of life are at the heart of everything we do.\nAbout the Role\nAs Registered Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, quality, compliance and staff performance.\nYou will work closely with families, healthcare professionals, local authorities and internal stakeholders whilst leading and developing your team to deliver outstanding support and positive outcomes.\nYou will:\nLead, motivate and develop a team of support colleagues and senior staff\nCreate a positive, accountable and high-performing culture\nEnsure person-centred support is embedded throughout the service\nMonitor quality, compliance and regulatory requirements\nManage recruitment, retention and workforce development\nComplete audits, supervisions, appraisals and competency assessments\nOversee service budgets and operational performance\nBuild positive relationships with families, professionals and commissioners\nDrive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for development\nYou will also participate in the on-call management rota as required.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for someone who combines compassion with confidence.\nYou will be:\nAn experienced manager within adult social care\nConfident managing established teams and different personalities\nPassionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support\nSkilled in performance management and staff development\nOrganised and operationally focused\nAble to build strong relationships and communicate effectively\nPrevious Registered Manager experience would be advantageous, however we would also welcome applications from:\nDeputy Managers ready to take the next step\nExperienced Service Managers\nOperational leaders within adult social care who are ready to register with CQC\nA Level 5
