We integrate cutting-edge technology with content expertise to develop standardized assessments for kindergarten through high school students. We are currently looking for a Manager, with expertise in math content and test development, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a key member of the team, serving as a thought principal in the development of new and innovative approaches to all types and stages of assessment.\nJob Responsibilities:\nMay manage a team of Test Developers and Item Writers.\nContributes to and executes a complex plan or solution that is vetted by Test Development leadership.\nManages client and stakeholder expectations effectively and ensures all client and collaborator requests are resolved in a thorough and timely manner.\nIdentifies risks to scope, schedule, and budget, escalating and monitoring resolution of risks.\nIdentifies and escalates complex department-wide issues, seeking and offering solutions.\nWorks collaboratively across divisions, as needed.\nContributes to content test development across all projects as a senior-level reviewer, as needed.\nPresents in TAC meetings as a content specialist and may present to senior leadership of the division and company.\nMay oversee and drive client facing meetings, including as the content specialist at standard settings, as well as facilitation of content advisory, rubric validation, range finding, data review, and other client meetings, as needed.\nDrives Content and Test Development training, including preparation for standard setting.\nAutonomously contributes to proposal work, as needed.\nJob Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Math Education with at least 8 years of experience leading development of content for large-scale summative assessments or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s degree is preferred.\nAt least 3 years of experience in a management role (People or Project).\nDeep content knowledge is required.\nProven knowledge and experience with the U.S. Education System and Education Assessment is required.\nDemonstrated experience and familiarity with innovative assessment products, including the research, design, development, and implementation of development efforts, is highly preferred.\nAwareness of early childhood formative products and experience in creating district-level assessments is beneficial.\nHighly comfortable interacting with and delivering various presentations to senior leadership and clients.\nDemonstrated experience contributing to Technical Advisory Committees (TAC) is preferred.\nDemonstrated and highly effective thought leadership.\nHighly skilled in collaboration, communication, and balancing concurrent responsibilities.\nHighly flexible and adaptive, pivoting as needed to arrive at a solution and meet deadlines.\nAbility to travel 1-8 times per year, including trips lasting 2-5 days.\n.\nTo learn more about our organization and the exciting work we do, visit https://www.cambiumassessment.com/\nRemote First Work Environment \nOur Remote First approach gives employees the flexibility and trust they need to effectively balance work with life.
