The Senior Agile Project Manager partners with business units, vendors, and technical teams to implement systems, infrastructure, and digital solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nStakeholder Engagement:\nAct as a subject matter expert to senior leadership on Agile transformation.\nCommunicate program goals, progress, and risks clearly and proactively.\nProject, Program, Portfolio & Agile Management:\nLead PI planning and ensure alignment of objectives across ARTs and portfolios. Leads Scrum of Scrums.\nManage program-level risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.\nOversee progress tracking for multiple teams and programs using KPIs and various metrics.\nAgile Leadership & Coaching:\nServe as an enterprise-level Agile champion, mentoring teams and Scrum Masters.\nSupport organizational maturity in Agile practices and scaled frameworks (SAFe).\nFacilitate advanced Agile ceremonies and coach leadership on Lean-Agile principles.\nOrganize and facilitate PI planning events and ART syncs.\nEnsure seamless coordination across teams and vendors for large-scale initiatives.\nTrack and report program-level metrics, delivery health, and predictability.\nContribute to enterprise knowledge bases and best practices for scaled delivery.\nProcess Optimization & Continuous Improvement:\nIdentify systemic bottlenecks and implement process improvements.\nLead program- or portfolio-level retrospectives and improvement workshops.\nAnalyze delivery health metrics across multiple teams to identify systemic issues.\nCoordinate cross-team improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.\nMentor Agile Managers and Scrum Masters on continuous improvement techniques (e.g., Kaizen, Lean).\nEstablish feedback loops with stakeholders to validate the effectiveness of changes.\nPromote sharing of best practices and lessons learned across teams and programs.\nGovernance & Oversight:\nEnsure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.\nOversees intake, prioritization, and approval workflows for strategic initiatives within an Agile framework.\nDefines and enforces governance standards for Agile delivery across programs and portfolios.\nMonitors delivery health, KPIs, and compliance with governance standards, using data to drive continuous improvement.\nMaintain transparency through dashboards, reports, and knowledge bases.\nTeam Leadership & Collaboration:\nLead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.\nMentor junior project managers and analysts to build organizational capability.\nFacilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and engagement.\nJob Requirements:\nExpert knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and scaling practices.\nStrong leadership and coaching capabilities for teams.\nAbility to manage complex dependencies and risks across multiple ARTs.\nProficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, SAFe tooling).\nExperience with PI planning tools and program dashboards.\nStrong analytical skills for KPIs and delivery metrics.\nExcels at stakeholder communication and management.\nStrategic thinking and decision-making under ambiguity.\nServant leadership and change management expertise.\nHigh adaptability in dynamic, enterprise-scale environments.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPMP certification.\n8+ years in Agile leadership roles, including portfolio-level experience.\nExperience leading enterprise Agile transformations.\nTo learn more about our organization and the exciting work we do, visit www.cambiumlearning.com\nRemote First Work Environment \nOur Remote First approach gives employees the flexibility and trust they need to effectively balance work with life.
