This role is hybrid based in Pittsburgh, PA.\nIn this role, the essential functions are:\nPerform power and avionics design and analysis for all mission concepts, right-sizing the power architecture to meet end-to-end mission objectives and requirements.\nDevelop and perform trade studies to support technical, business, and/or programmatic actions and decision-making.\nSupport development of component specifications and system-level requirements\nSupport spacecraft power component testing and system integration\nCoordinate between technical partners, vendors, and peer engineers of other disciplines to assess design progress, schedule, and risks through the full systems engineering development cycle\nProvide real-time operational support from mission control center\nIf your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect. If you don’t see the right role right now, Join Our Talent Community and stay connected as we continue to build what’s next. \nMinimum Qualifications:\n2-4 years of professional experience in power systems development for mission-critical, aerospace, defense, or other high reliability industry.\nDemonstrated ability to carry out complicated analysis tasks, including developing the necessary tools/methodology and synthesizing results into higher level conclusions.\nB.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, similar related discipline or equivalent work experience.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliar with solar photovoltaic and lithium-ion battery technology\nExperience with power budgeting process and system level energy balance analysis\nFamiliarity with surface charging related to space environments\nExperience using SPICE for circuit analysis/modeling and familiarity with power electronics\nHands on experience working with electronics and lab equipment\nFamiliarity with power system telemetry measurement and processing\nExperience with FMEA process and interfacing with software teams to develop system FDIR\nAbility to build analytical tools using Microsoft VBA and MATLAB\nKnowledge of spacecraft environmental tests\nKnowledge of Range Safety and Ground Safety compliance\nFamiliarity with NASA-STD-4001, NASA-STD-4003, and MIL-STD-461\nTravel, Physical, and/or Government Mandated Requirements:\nTravel up to 10%, including the possibility of overnights, both foreign and domestic, to launch sites, customer facilities, and NASA/Government centers\nAbility to lift, move or carry items or equipment up to 10 pounds\nVoyager offers a highly competitive total compensation package designed to support the well-being, growth, and success of our employees.
