The MPM leads all phases of subcontract program execution. This includes developing supplier program management documentation such as monthly status reports, SRR/PDR/CDR materials, program planning documentation, and program management related CDRLs, and presenting subcontract program materials to technical teams, leadership, and customers. The Material Program Manager (MPM) is a unique position that requires strategic thinking as well as tactical execution allowing an individual to make immediate tangible impacts. A successful MPM can work with minimal supervision to solve complex problems to ensure both short term and long term success of their respective program. An MPM would need to possess strong hard skills to execute plans to completion, as well as soft skills to appropriately work with multiple disciplines, and communicate challenges to many stakeholders. It is a rare position to stretch your skillsets and test your abilities making real impact on the organization.\nResponsibilities include:\nDemonstrated ability generating, managing, and owning Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), and EVMS (earned value management system)\nFinancial responsibilities including project-level profit and loss, EAC’s, material sales forecasting, accruals, and cost account management (CAM)\nLead program execution with key subcontractors through all program phases, including SRR/PDR/CDR milestones and program management related CDRLs\nServe as a primary customer contact for material and subcontract program information\nAbility to confidently present and represent Voyager Technologies Global Supply Chain in Program Management Reviews, leadership briefings, and customer briefings\nAbility to creatively solve complex supply chain problems with data driven strategies\nDemonstrated aptitude in identifying Risks and Opportunities to the program\nConsistently work on supply and demand to proactively identify gaps to eliminate them\nEscalate critical material shortages immediately upon identification and own efforts to resolve them\nAbility to resolve short term problems while maintaining long term success of the program\nDemonstrated ability to work in a fast paced development environment\nImplement solutions to overcome current & future material shortages\nCoordinate and optimize delivery schedules with critical Suppliers\nSupport follow-on and new business opportunities, including input into proposals\nChallenge business impediments to excellence and continuous improvement\nDemonstrated ability to lead others through dynamic and fluid environments\nIf your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect. If you don’t see the right role right now,Join Our Talent Communityand stay connected as we continue to build what’s next.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in engineering or business AND a minimum of twenty (20) years of program management and/or supply chain management experience, including five (5) years managing DoD propulsion related programs\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a US Government issued Secret clearance; US citizenship is required\nDirect experience managing large subcontracts\nMaterial Program Management and/or Supply Chain Management experience working on prime defense programs\nExperience briefing executive management and customers on program status, risks, and future plans\nDemonstrate strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills\nStrong Program and Budget Management skills\nProficient user with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint\nPreferred Qualifications:\nActive DoD Secret clearance\nManagement of rocket propulsion defense system programs, including propulsion control systems\nBachelor's degree in Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification\nUnderstanding of Government Procurement processes and regulations\nLean and Six Sigma Training and/or Certification desired\nExperience leading and supporting prime proposal efforts and business development with funding customer offices\nExpert Excel ability including pivot tables, macros, and VBA\nTravel, Physical, and/or Government Mandated Requirements:\nTravel up to 10%, including the possibility of overnights within the United States\nThe good faith base salary range for this role is $140,000-$195,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive.
