Development of all program management related documentation such as: monthly status reports, PDR/CDR matter, program planning documentation, program management related CDRLs and presentations of program materials to relatively large technical teams and management, subcontractors, and customers.one sentence job summary.\nThe position reports to the Director of Advanced Technology Programs and is part of the Science & Technologies department based in Reno, NV. This role is onsite or hybrid based in Reno, NV.\nIn this role, the essential functions are:\nPlans, directs, and monitors project(s) to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are Responsible for the project level profit and loss.\nDefines, generates, and reviews project management related\nEnsures that all required resources such as engineering, manpower, production, and facilities are available for the\nWorks closely with the assigned project staff to ensure adequate direction is provided regarding budgeting and execution of\nWorks closely with the assigned project staff to ensure all program deliverables are met\nWorks closely with Voyager management to ensure that all program risks and issues are identified early and proactively elevated and properly acted\nServes as primary customer contact for project\nParticipate in customer meetings, peer reviews, and problem-solving\nEnsure adherence to all internal Program Management\nInput into creation of proposals for follow-on\nTravels up to 25% of the time to various customer\nOther related job duties, as assigned\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree with emphasis in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university. May consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree.\n10+ years of program management experience which includes 5 years managing DOD propulsion related programs.\nPrior responsibilities directly related to generating, managing, and owning Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Master Plans, Earned Value Management.\nDirect experience in managing large Subcontracts.\nExperience managing programs for the U.S. Government Customers\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree with emphasis in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college/university.\nMay consider equivalent experience in lieu of degree.\nManagement of rocket propulsion defense system programs.\nManagement of Missile Defense Agency programs with MAP/PMAP requirements.\nExperience briefing executive management and customers on program status, risks, and future plans\nSkills:\nAbility to multi-task in a highly collaborative team environment.\nPossess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication.\nProven ability to solve problems quickly and completely.\nOverall knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project\nPreferred experience in using Integrated Program Management Tools\nPreferred basic understanding in solid rocket motor design and operation\nOther Requirements:\nTravel up to 25%, including the possibility of overnights within the continental US\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship)\nIf your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive.
