This role is onsite and based in San Diego, CA.Relocation assistance may be provided to qualified candidates. \nIn this role, the essential functions are: \nDerive and document RF subsystem (UC, DC, PA and LNA) requirements from system or top-level requirements\nProduce RF schematics to capture the design\nLayout and/or guide the layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) based on schematic\nValidate the design; troubleshoot and test complex RF circuit boards and assemblies\nDevelop RF test procedures, possibly performing them when needed\nAssist with manufacturing of complex PCBAs and resolve issues with their integration into higher assemblies\nProvide system integration and test troubleshooting support\nBe able to meet aggressive/accelerated schedule deadlines.\nSupport internal and external design and development gate reviews with related documentation\nSupport customer meetings\nParticipate in proposals and trade studies, including evaluating contractor and subcontractor proposals for technical feasibility\nIf your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect. If you don’t see the right role right now,Join Our Talent Community and stay connected as we continue to build what’s next. \nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Master’s degree with an emphasis on RF\n5+ years of experience in RF hardware/schematic design (preferably Altium) from UHF to Ka-band\nExperience designing LNAs and Power Amplifiers up to 10W at Ka/Ku-band\nAnalysis/simulations, PCB layout (preferably Altium) and test experience from UHF to Ka-band\nExperience with RF test equipment and lab practices\nCapable of multi-tasking; working on multiple projects & supporting production activities\nStrong technical background; capable of coming up-to-speed quickly on new technologies\nAble to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance\nPreferred Qualifications: \nKnowledge of space environment design issues including EMI/EMC, radiation, temperature, shock, vibration a plus\nKnowledge of Python, C/C++, MATLAB & scripting/test automation a plus\nExperience with EDA software such as Altium, AWR/MWO, Genesys/ADS, etc., a plus\nThe good faith base salary range for this role is $125,000-$195,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive.
