Voyis operates independently and is part of Kraken Robotics.\nWhat you’ll do: \nAs a Quality Technician at Voyis, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our materials and products meet our high standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.\nYou will be responsible for inspecting and testing raw materials, components, and assemblies to ensure that they meet our quality standards and specifications. You will work closely with our procurement and production team to identify potential quality issues with suppliers and develop solutions to prevent quality issues from occurring in the future.\nWe are looking for someone who is keen to learn and grow with the role as we expand operations. We are a small team with lots of opportunities to solve interesting problems. Everyone is expected to take ownership and go beyond the minimum requirements to achieve our goals, together.\nSpecific responsibilities include: \n\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. \nInspect custom CNC machined parts, PCBAs, electrical harnesses, optical elements, and cables to ensure that they meet specifications. \nPerform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using precision tools and equipment. \nIdentify and report any defects or non-conformities in products or components. \nCommunicate with production teams to resolve quality issues and provide feedback for continuous improvement. \nMaintain accurate records of inspection results and quality documentation. \nParticipate in Continuous Improvement and 5S activities \nSkills you will bring to the table:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. \n2+ years of experience in quality control or a related field. \nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards. \nFamiliarity with precision measurement tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometer, microscope and digital multimeter. \nExcellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities. \nStrong communication and interpersonal skills. \nAbility to work independently and in a team environment. \nExperience with machined components and PCBA testing preferred.\nYou'll Stand Out If You Have:\n\nExperience working with quality control standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001 \nKnowledge of IPC-620/610, Experience with PCBA testing, handling ESD-sensitive materials \nCertifications related to quality control, such as Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Certified Quality Inspector (CQI). \nFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. \nNot every great candidate checks every box. Actual starting compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) experience, skillset, and market considerations.
