This is a production role with a four (4) 10-hr days schedule. The ideal candidate will have some production/assembly experience, demonstrate good attendance practices, and possess skills such as attention to detail and the ability to work in both team-centered and independent environments. Please see further details below:\nSHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM, 45-minute lunch break. Off Friday - Sunday.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAssist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders.\nReading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.\nMoving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.\nFilling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.\nAssisting in counting of physical inventory.\nMay be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.\nSweeping, dusting, and mopping.\nOrganizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.\nWearing the proper safety equipment. \nWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.\n** These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities and duties. **\nRequirements\nJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to maintain safe work environments.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. \n Education and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nHAZMAT training a plus.\nPhysical Demands:\nRequires heavy lifting.\nRequires Standing for 8-10 hours per day\nRequires Kneeling/Squatting for 4-6 hours per day\nRequires Bending/Stooping for 4-6 hours per day\nRequires use of a Pallet Jack to move palletized containers. Palletized containers weigh about 1,296 lbs.\nRequires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 36-44 lbs. from 2-4 hours per day.
