The candidate will be responsible for coaching, resolving opportunities and serving as a liaison between subordinates and upper management. The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who will be able to guide and train employees. The candidate will understand the processes that are under the responsibilities of this position. Most of all we are looking for a genuine and ambitious candidate to fill this role with a dynamic and growing company.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTake full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift following the company’s quality systems, processes, and procedures.\nSupervise, develop and motivate direct reporting staff. \nEnsure clear communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff. \nEnsure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all relating matters are managed while using the company resources in line with the Health and Safety policies. \nIdentify root causes and take a fast-effective action to resolve any opportunity that arises by using problem solving skills.\nWork closely with other shift Supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective while using effective communication tools.\nMaintain an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.\nMaintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.\nMake appropriate decisions while following the companies organizational structure.\nEnsure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to create, manage, and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nMinimum Requirements:\nIdeal Candidate: This is a role for someone who is dynamic, self-driven, results-oriented, and above all, who has a positive “CAN DO” outlook. VPET is looking for an organized, forward planning, logical thinker.\nSchedule: Candidate must be able to work extended hours on occasions and when required.
